How We Support Your Fertility Journey

Intended Parent Consultation sessions help you prepare for using donors or surrogates. During these sessions, we’ll discuss the impact of successful treatment (e.g., transition to parenthood), the disclosure process with the child, the impact of treatment failure, any medical conditions that led to fertility treatment, implications of treatment(s), and fears and concerns about the process. It’s a chance for you to ask questions and receive support.

Most consultation sessions are 60 minutes long, and the cost is $350.

Screening sessions assess whether gestational carriers or surrogates are emotionally healthy and ready to go through the process of pregnancy. These sessions include an interview and psychological evaluation. We ensure that the carrier fully understands what’s involved with this commitment.

Most screening sessions are 2 hours long. The cost is $1,100 and includes a written report that can be submitted to the fertility clinic or agency.

Screening sessions assess whether egg or sperm donors are emotionally ready to go through the process of donation. These sessions include an interview and psychological evaluation. We ensure that the donor fully understands what’s involved with this commitment.

Most screening sessions are 2 hours long. The cost is $1,100 and includes a written report that can be submitted to the fertility clinic or agency.

We provide counseling for individuals and couples who want continued support throughout the family building process. Infertility, fertility treatments, pregnancy loss, and other family building issues can be stressful and take an emotional toll. We provide emotional support and coping strategies to help you through the process.

Each counseling session lasts 50 minutes and costs $220.

Facts to Consider

How common is infertility?

Having trouble getting pregnant isn’t something that most people anticipate facing. Yet, it’s very common – 1 in 8 couples have trouble getting pregnant or sustaining a pregnancy.

Is infertility only a woman’s problem?

Men have similar rates of infertility as women. Approximately 1/3 of infertility is due to a female factor, 1/3 to a male factor, and 1/3 to problems with both partners or an unexplained cause. Regardless of the cause, infertility can be painful and difficult for both people in a relationship. It is important to support one another through this time.

Is what I’m feeling about infertility normal?

Feeling stressed, depressed, anxious, and isolated are all very common when facing infertility. Infertility can be one of the most distressing life crises that a person faces. In addition, many men and women feel inadequate and ashamed about their masculinity or femininity, which can in turn cause them to feel unworthy of their partner. You may think you’re the only one experiencing these feelings, however, you’re not alone. Counseling can help you cope with these feelings.
